- Hydrology and Ecology of Reservoirs, Lakes, River Systems and their Watersheds,

- Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics,

- River and Engineering Hydrology,

- Formation and Propagation of Flood and Dam-Break Waves in River Channels and Valleys (including their Mathematical Modelling),

- Contaminant Transfer Processes in the Environment,

- Mathematical  Modelling of Hydrologic Processes and Contaminant Transport and Transformation in Hydrologic Systems,
